The Adage Company Program is designed for students who are striving to dance professionally‚ pursue dance at the collegiate level‚ or wish to participate in competitions throughout the year. This Program entails an extensive training experience and will prepare dancers for the commitment‚ skill level‚ and mentality required of a working dancer.
Adage Dance Center holds annual company auditions in June. Students who display the work ethic and desire to grow as a dancer are selected by our faculty to be a part of our Competitive Team. If selected‚ the commitment is as follows: Students are required to take all styles of dance including Ballet‚ Jazz‚ Tap‚ Lyrical‚ Contemporary‚ and Hip–Hop. Each company member is required to train for a set number of hours per week. The weekly class requirement is personalized to each dancer’s ability. These dancers will receive numerous opportunities to train under the direction of top industry professionals in a healthy and nurturing environment.
Adage Company Dancers are proud to have received countless accolades including national dance titles‚ scholarships to a variety of dance conventions and have been accepted into some of the nations top college programs. Adage Company dancers have gone on to perform on Broadway and work professionally in the commercial dance industry – dancing on world tours‚ commercials‚ music videos‚ and more.
